The traffic report system in BoatWizard has had a large number of upgrades recently. To help you get the best from the data now available to you, here is a quick glossary of the headings you see on the downloadable reports:
- Total Impressions: the number of times your listings are displayed in search or browse results, as well as other placements on site that are not paid enhancements
- Total Listing Views: the number of times your boat detail pages are viewed
- Listing Click Through Rate: the click-through rate (CTR) is the number of listing views divided by the total impressions
- Total Connections: the total number of interactions with your listings (including email leads, phone leads, map views etc.)
Visibility
- Referrals: this is the number of listing views to your boat detail pages that come from an external source and not from an on-site impression. For example, a pageview that comes directly from a Google search is reported as a Referral.
- Premium Featured Boat: the most prominent listing on the YachtWorld homepage above the fold. Any clicks on this listing are reported as Premium Featured listing views.
- Featured: 9 listings that appear below the fold on the YachtWorld homepage. Any clicks on these listings are reported as Featured listing views.
- Enhanced: listings that are 2X the size of standard listings on search results and browse pages. Any clicks on these listings are reported as Enhanced listing views.
- Standard: non-enhanced listings on search results, browse, listings near you, similar boats, more boats from this dealer etc. Any clicks on these listings are reported as Standard listing views.
