Re-targeting. What is it and do I need it?

Re-targeting is the art of serving a digital advert to a buyer, based on his live search behaviour. In practice, this can mean a number of things such as:

  • serving an ad for a Manhattan 50 when a buyer recently looked at a Princess 49:
  • serving an ad to a buyer who is still shopping around on YachtWorld, despite having visited your own website last week:
  • serving an ad for a forthcoming boat show to a buyer who had recently looked at one of your new models:
