Last night, we added significant new functionality to BoatWizards new traffic reporter. These new additions are called Connections, and they are now live in the Reports tab above. They show, in considerable detail, all the activity on your boat specs that is generated by visitors to YachtWorld.com, in addition to email leads. Connections include:
- the number of buyers who click through to your full list of boats for sale
- the number of buyers who link to social media from your boat specs
- the number of buyers who visit your website
- the number of buyers who print one of your boats
- the number of buyers who email one of your boats to themselves, or to a friend
- the number of buyers who save one of your listings
Your connections reports show the level of engagement consumers make with your boats before contacting you to make a purchase. It reflects the forecast shift in buyer behaviour away from email leads, which we expect to accelerate in 2017. Simply click on the relevant buttons at the bottom of the reports tab to see your connections.
Commenting on the launch of connections, VP of Marketing Courtney Chalmers said “While phone calls and emails are still very important metrics to track, we are seeing consumers interacting in other ways with the products they’re interested in. A consumer may connect with a brand in five or six ways, but never submit a traditional phone or email lead. Tracking these connections allows our brokers and dealers to understand consumers’ touch points, and anticipate traffic to their website or office.”
