Users of YachtWorld.com are able to search for boats in their home currency, with ten currencies to choose from. On the boat details pages, the user has always been able to view the boat in two currencies:
- the value you entered in to BoatWizard
- the value in the users home currency, converted on a daily rate
However, the search results pages only ever showed one currency – the currency that the user chose to search in. As the price displayed was based on a daily rate, this often caused confusion. As such, an asterisk * now shows on the search results page next to any boats that have a converted price displayed. In the footer of all pages is the note: This price is based on today’s currency conversion rate.
